LIGHT-YEAR

Lightyear is a 2022 American computer-animated science fiction action-adventure film distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film was produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It is a spin-off of the Toy Story film series and serves as the origin story for the fictional test pilot/astronaut character that served as the inspiration for the Buzz Lightyear toy/action figure that appeared in the main films.

Lightyear is an epic sci-fi action-adventure film and the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy. The film follows the legendary Space Ranger after he, his commander, and his crew are marooned on a hostile planet 4.2 million light-years from Earth. As Buzz searches for a route back home through space and time, he’s joined by a group of determined recruits and his friendly robot cat, Sox. Sox turns into a robot. The imposing presence of Zurg has arrived, who is accompanied by a legion of ruthless robots and has some kind of sinister plan, complicating matters and putting the mission in jeopardy.

It is scheduled to be available in theaters in the United States on June 17, 2022 and will be presented in RealD 3D, 4DX, Dolby Cinema and IMAX formats, respectively. It will be the first Pixar film to be shown in IMAX theaters.


MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU

Minions: The Rise of Gru is an upcoming American computer-animated action comedy film that was produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures in 2022. The film is also known as Minions 2. It is the fifth film in the Despicable Me franchise and the sequel to the spin-off prequel Minions (2015). Overall, it is the fifth installment in the Despicable Me series.

Now 12 years old and living in the suburbs, Gru is shown to be growing up after the events of the first film, which takes place in the 1970s. Gru, a supporter of a group of supervillains known as the Vicious 6, He devises a plan to corrupt himself to the point where he can join them. Gru requests to join the Vicious 6 after Wild Knuckles, his former leader and a legendary fighter, is removed from his position as leader of the group.
Things don’t go well and actually get worse after Gru steals a fancy stone from them with the help of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions. He then unexpectedly finds himself in the position of being the mortal enemy of the most evil being in the world. While on the run, Gru and the Minions seek advice from the most unlikely source: Wild Knuckles himself, discovering that even villains need help from their allies from time to time.

Universal Pictures has announced that the theatrical release of the film titled “Minions: The Rise of Gru” will take place in the United States on July 1, 2022.


DC League of Super Pets
Release date: July 29, 2022

The upcoming American 3D computer-animated superhero comedy film DC League of Super-Pets is being produced by Warner Animation Group and is based on the DC Comics superhero team Legion of Super-Pets.

When Lex Luthor (Marc Maron) takes the Justice League captive, Superman’s dog Krypto (Dwayne Johnson) assembles a team of shelter pets given superpowers to rescue them. The team includes a bloodhound named Ace (Kevin Hart), who becomes incredibly strong and invincible; a pig named PB (Vanessa Bayer), who can grow to an enormous size; a tortoise named Merton (Natasha Lyonne), who is extremely fast; and a squirrel named Chip (Diego Luna), who acquires electrical superpowers.

In the United States, DC League of Super-Pets is scheduled for theatrical release on July 29, 2022 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
